Duisdale House Hotel is a contemporary Highland mansion in extensive, mature gardens, which make for a stunning backdrop to your lifetime commitment to each other.
Built in 1865 as a Hunting Lodge, Duisdale was given a new lease of life when it was taken over by Anne Gracie and Ken Gunn, who have delivered a stylish boutique hotel where guests are offered the highest level of service to ensure a memorable stay. This is reflected in awards won by the hotel, most recently Scotland’s Independent Hotel of the Year (Catering in Scotland Awards, 2015).
It’s a magical wedding venue with fantastic seaside, garden and woodland photo opportunities. It is what every Hebridean Hotel should be wonderfully comfortable with award-winning cuisine.
With 18 beautiful bedrooms where 36 resident guests can be accommodated, Duisdale also boasts a restaurant, conservatory and bar area as well as a lounge with open fire as well as an extended garden decking area and luxury hot tub. Additional guests who would like to stay overnight can be conveniently accommodated a few minutes away at sister hotel Toravaig House.
A further 24 day guests can be invited to the wedding breakfast in the dining room, making a maximum seating for 60 within the hotel. The kitchen team pride themselves in delivering the most delicious locally sourced food to celebrate your marriage in the best way possible, regardless of the size of party. In addition a garden marquee can increase the space available for larger weddings and evening entertainment. The addition of a marquee takes the maximum wedding capacity at Duisdale to 150 for the wedding meal and dance truly a night no one will forget.
